From his early passion for fashion to the establishment of his own brand, Alex Paparusso has always been interested in the intersection of fashion, celebrity and the world of television and cinema production. This has led to the founding of Paparusso Communications alongside his father, Nicola Paparusso, from whom he has learned, working closely together with him over the years.
NICOLA PAPARUSSO Founder is an expert in marketing and communication. He is an adjunct professor at the University Escuela Superior Sevilla de Moda. Born in Lecce, Italy, he holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in administration, both from the Federico II University in Naples. During the 15th Legislature, he was Legislative Adviser to the Chairman of the Senate Defense Committee and, thereafter, to the Chairman of the Italian Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. He is a Knight of Merit of the Italian Republic and a representative of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. He is the founder of African Fashion Gate, a workshop of cultural initiatives which combats racism, discrimination and exclusion in the world of fashion.
With director Gian Carlo Nicotra,Nicola Paparusso wrote and produced “Sua Eccellenza Italia – il Gala del Made in Italy,” co-produced with Rai Uno and broadcast worldwide by Rai International. The program was awarded the Medal of Representation by the President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano.
He is also the author and director of the short film “La Dieta Mediterranea,” made for the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, and of the short films distributed by Rai Cinema “Racism is not in style” and “Nessuno Escluso.” Additionally, he is a screenwriter and producer of the music videos “Goal” starring Osmani Garcia and Pitbull as well as “Carry on” and “Wait” by Mao Otayeck and Stevie Wonder.
Paparusso is the editor of Voci in Passerella, an online newspaper registered with the court of Verona.
He is the author of several novels including L’infiltrato and Caffè Corretto.
He is a winner of the Literary Prize “Approdi d’Autore” (2008)
With the sociology essay Angeli Assassini, he entered the coveted literary review “Libri nel borgo antico” (2014)
In 2008 he wrote and edited “Grandi tra i Grandi,” the calendar distributed by the weekly magazine Gente and whose preface was authored by journalist Bruno Vespa.
